I’m back, Baby.

First, I need to let you know that I am feeling really good these days!  Last Monday was the day when I had to call the doc’s office to let them know that my dear Aunt Flo had safely arrived so that they could give me the medication and office visit schedule for the rest of the cycle.

Apparently, if this were the seventies, getting my period would have inspired me to grab my flute for a lakeside jam session.

While I was, without a doubt, literally shaking with excitement to hear that we finally have a date for the transfer, with that news came a meltdown of epic proportions.  Anyone who knows me would describe me as a pretty laid back go-with-the-flow kind of girl.  I am a glass half-full, a firm believer in positive energy and such.  Well, if you take a low-key girl like me, inject her for a couple of weeks with syringes full of hormones, invite her wicked old Aunt Flo to come over and slap her in the face and then tell her the exact date that her babies will be officially in her belly, it may just cause her little glass-half-full to be shaken up, spilling over and then come crashing to the floor.  Are you feelin’ me?

But, I’m back, Baby.  I am feeling good.  Michael and I went to yoga last week and we have three more Saturday morning sessions scheduled.  I have my first acupuncture session scheduled for tomorrow evening and I have been eating only small, reasonable amounts of pineapple. I cannot promise that there will be no more meltdowns, but, in the grand scheme of things, life is good.  Really good.

I’m so happy for you! Wishing you all the best of luck. The full bladder thing is so not fun – I’d rather give myself shots – LOL!

I was laughing so hard at your post about the conversations with your hubby. When I was going through all the hormone injections my first time around with IVF, I was an emotional mess. I started laughing and crying at the same time – literally. He asked me if I was crying or laughing and I told him I didn’t know. I totally had no idea. I was such a mess!

I got your pens yesterday. They are so cute!!

Oh – I forgot! Thank you also for the sweet note you sent too! Good luck with everything! Praying for ya!
